Wider opportunities

At Park View Academy, we aim to provide a range of experiences beyond the classroom.

Each week, staff provide enrichment clubs after school every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. These clubs are offered to all children and are free of charge. Attendance is monitored and all children are supported and encouraged and encouraged to attend. Furthermore, teachers plan trips and visits which further embed learning in specific areas of the curriculum or that offer a broader understanding of a concept.  We take advantage of our location and make visits within the local area, where beneficial to learning.  Teachers look for opportunities to invite visitors into the school for first-hand experiences in school and our clubs offer aims to cover sports, music, arts and academic support across the year.  Additional opportunities are mapped out and some examples of previous years’ activities are shown below.
